Customer Questions
Question:
What gauge wire is that to the alternator? Is there the potential to get a higher gauge?
- Quentin
Answer:
Hey Quentin, we don't have the sizing info, but it's the same as factory. Unfortunately they do not offer a higher gauge option. For high-output alternators we recommend running a heavier gauge directly from alternator to battery, in addition to the factory gauge.
Question:
CAN THIS HARNESS BE INSTALLED WITH THE CAR ON A LIFT? IS THERE ANY CUTTING OF THE OEM HARNESS. ARE THE CONNECTORS ON THE NEW HARNESS MARKED AND THE SAME AS THE ONES THAT COME ON THE OEM HARNESS? ANY INFORMATION YOU HAVE ON INSTALLING THIS HARNESS LET ME KNOW, THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
Answer:
Hello, it can be installed with the car on a lift. None of the connectors are marked, but their fit and location is the exact same as stock, so it's really just a matter of plugging them in where they fit. The only confusing connectors are the black and blue connectors up by the passenger side headlight. For those, you just match up the colors.
