with the parts included does the get rid of of the OEM shifter lever and shifter plate?

Hi Christian, it replaces the shifter but reuses the top plate (32822-AC80A) and the plastic cup/socket (32870-AC800) so we would recommend getting a replacement cup/socket at the least.

Works great.
Pros:
- Great feel. Much more direct
- Less vibration, but this may be due to my old shifter cup being worn
- The right amount of "short" in the shift. Not too hard to move around.
Cons:
- No documentation, but there is plenty online now. It's not immediately obvious what the circular ring is for.
- Reverse lockout pin strikes the alignment plate every now and then when coming out of reverse. Not a major issue, but explains why the stock lockout pin has a bevelled edge
