Description
This
is
the
best
adapter
kit
available
on
the
market,
do
not
be
fooled
by
those
cheap
imitations
that
make
you
have
to
use
longer
studs
and
wheels
spacers.
This
kit
centers
the
new
rotors
to
original
stock
location,
unlike
other
kits
which
move
the
caliper
out
with
a
flimsy
bracket.
Improve
your
braking
and
fill
in
the
gap
of
the
small
stock
brake
kit.
This
upgrade
lets
you
use
your
stock
calipers
with
larger
12.75inch
350Z
Track
Model
Rotors.
Larger
brake
rotors,
even
with
stock
calipers,
can
provide
a
significant
improvement
in
braking
over
stock
rotors.
The
larger
diameter
moves
the
caliper
further
from
the
center
of
the
hub,
which
gives
the
caliper
more
leverage
thus
increasing
brake
torque
(with
the
same
pedal
pressure
and
pad
friction).
The
larger
rotors
also
have
more
thermal
mass,
which
reduces
brake
fade.
The
big
brake
rotor
upgrade
is
a
very
cost
effective
upgrade
that
provides
real
improvements
to
braking.
This
kit
will
only
work
on
17"+
wheels
(offset
also
matters,
so
in
some
cases
a
spacer
may
be
required),
this
will
not
work
on
a
stock
16"
wheel.
This
kit
will
also
not
work
on
a
1990
Non-Turbo,
because
1990
Non-Turbos
use
a
smaller
caliper
(26mm
vs
30mm
on
all
other
models).
Does
not
fit
with
R32
GT-R
Calipers.

Due
to
the
large
size
of
the
rotor
compared
to
the
original
300ZX
caliper,
there
is
a
5mm
overhang.
This
does
not
effect
performance,
we
recommend
shaving
the
top
portion
of
the
pad
to
avoid
squeaking.

Customer Questions
Question:
So will I be buying 350z pads too? Or just rotors?
- Nick Hill
Answer:
Hey Nick, you still use 300ZX calipers, so you'll still use 300ZX pads as well
Question:
Some other kits come with a hub centric adapter for the rotors. Is that for 13" or 370 rotors? Or will we need a ring for these?
- Scott Clark
Answer:
These do not require a hubcentric adapter; these use 350Z Brembo rotors which have the same bore as the 300ZX rotors.
Question:
So exactly what year 350z rotors do I need to purchase to simplify this ?
- Minor
Answer:
Hey there, you would use 03-08 350Z Brembo fronts. That's not to say they need to be from the Brembo brand, but rather the fitment is for 350Zs that shipped w/ factory Brembo brakes.

Great quality and solid product. Easy to install.
This is a good 3 hour project. I'm giving it 4 stars because trimming the overhang of the brake pads is a drag. Otherwise, for quality, fit and cost, it would be a 5 star. I did not cut off my dust shields. To make them work, I flattened them a bit by working around the edge with a small vice. Seems to brake well, and the bigger rotors fill my 18" wheels nicely.
