Hey Nathan, WPS has told us that at 1200rpm it will generate half of it's maximum output. At 2400rpm, it will output full amperage.

Question:
Is this alternator plug n play for a 2004 roadster. Stock except installing a 500 watt stereo and want to upgrade the amperage.
Also since my alternator is 15 yrs old anyways I figure its time to change it anyways.

Hey Angelo, it'll bolt right up but you'll want to run an additional wire from the positive post on the alternator to the battery. WPS recommends a 4ga or larger wire.

Do not buy. Product is junk. It has been installed for 2 weeks now and the bearing is squealing and it is not "high output". The stock alternator performs better under load.
I am a huge advocate for CZP. I buy most of parts from them and I haven't had any issues in the past. This review isn't a reflect of CZP and their customer service; just this product. This is product is junk!! It failed to keep a charge less than a year.
