clip
is
used
on
practically
every
modern
Nissan
in
several
locations,
like
splash
shields,
fender
liners,
and
battery
covers.
They
fail
frequently,
and
unfortunately
being
plastic,
this
makes
them
more
or
less
"disposable."
We
recommend
grabbing
a
handful,
since
we
often
need
a
few
every
time
we
pop
our
hoods!

individually.

Nissan
has
updated
the
design
of
these
a
few
times
over
the
years.
The
current
version
is
not
meant
to
be
(easily)
removed
once
clipped
in
place,
but
does
tend
to
stay
in
place
more
reliably
than
the
earlier
versions.
