Question:

What is the weight of the chromoly flywheel? - Francisco Sota

Answer:

Hi Francisco, it is 17 lbs.

Question:

So I was going to upgrade my clutch, should I also upgrade my csc and my master? - Marcos A

Answer:

Hey Marcos, we pretty much recommend replacing the slave every time you pull the transmission, and you generally want to replace the master whenever the slave is replaced. Upgraded versions are generally just going to be more reliable than the stock and standard replacements.

Question:

Hello, which clutch disk would you recommend for someone with a stock VQ35HR that will see the occasional track day? Would the stage 2 be fine, or should I go with the stage 3 for the added safety window? Thanks - Nate

Answer:

Hey Nate, the Stage 3 will handle hard launches a lot better, but it's also going to be less enjoyable to drive on the street. If you're not launching the car from a dig, or it's more important to maintain streetability, we'd lean towards the Stage 2.

Question:

What are the torque specs for the clutch and flywheel? - Alex

Answer:

Hi Alex, for the pressure plate, you tighten in two steps (11 ft-lbs, then 29 ft-lbs). The flywheel-to-crank goes to 65 ft-lbs.

Question:

Which clutch do you recommend for a FBO tuned HR with 315rwhp ? - Kyle

Answer:

Either one will handle it, but we generally recommend the Stage 2 for a greater window of safety, since it's still just as driveable as Stage 1.

Question:

Hello, just a question about the hp rating for the clutches. Is the horsepower rated for wheel hp or hp at the crank. Thanks! - Kyle

Answer:

Hey Kyle, these are crank ratings!
