The development of these under shrouds was motivated by the need to protect critical engine components from damage under the car. Additionally, the original plastic OEM shield tends to deteriorate over time and often ends up on the highway behind you.

The updated features include vents to facilitate the escape of hot air from the engine compartment, providing greater clearance for larger sway bars and deeper oil pans. These trays not only keep road debris and grime out of the engine bay, but they also contribute to proper aerodynamics and cooling by directing airflow in the right direction.

The under shrouds are compatible with all 2003-2009 350Z, 2003-2006 G35 Sedan, and 2003-2007 G35 Coupe models with stock front fascias, and should fit any fascia that utilizes the OEM under shroud mounting points.

Installing the under shroud will also improve the lower front fascia's rigidity, as running without the shield at high speeds can cause severe damage, causing it to droop down and potentially rip apart. The integrated oil change access door makes it easy to access the oil filter and drain plug by removing two bolts. The entire piece weighs 4.5lbs, compared to the plastic OEM shield's weight of just over 3lbs, providing lightweight yet superior protection!

All new mounting hardware is included with the under shroud.
