designed
specially
so
that
an
aftermarket
steering
wheel
installed
with
the
quick
release
kit
still
mounts
in
the
same
location,
not
too
close
to
the
driver.

from
the
highest
quality
aluminum.

utilizing
one
piece
solid
construction
for
the
maxim

Aftermarket
steering
wheels
are
"universal"
(not
vehicle
specific),
but
will
require
a
hub
adapter
that
is
compatible
with
your
vehicle
and
has
the
correct
bolt
pattern
for
your
steering
wheel.
There
are
two
bolt
patterns
in
common
use
today:
-
6x70mm
PCD
-
NRG,
OMP,
Sparco,
MOMO,
Grip
Royal,
Works
Bell
-
6x74mm
PCD
-
Nardi,
Personal
Hub
adapters
with
12
bolt
holes
typically
support
both
of
the
above
patterns.
However,
"short"
hubs,
and
quick
release
adapters
(which
are
optional),
often
only
support
one
of
the
two
above
patterns,
so
be
sure
to
double
check
that
all
of
your
components
are
compatible
with
one
another.

Hey John, NRG uses 6x70mm bolt pattern, and Nardi uses 6x74mm, so it would require an adapter.
Question:
Can a steering wheel be bolted directly to the short hub? Or is a quick release needed ?

Hi Colin, you can connect the wheel directly to the hub. A quick release is optional.
