Description
This
is
the
main
idler
that
keeps
tension
on
the
timing
belt.
These
should
be
replaced
every
60K
miles,
otherwise
they
wear
out,
make
the
belt
slip,
and
cause
engine
damage.
After
you
set
your
tensioner,
please
don't
forget
to
secure
you
tensioner
bolt(blue
loctite).
Due
to
the
movement
and
vibration
of
the
tensioner,
they
tend
to
come
loose
if
not
enough
tension
is
on
the
belt.
You
can
also
remove
the
bolt
completely
if
you
extend
the
tensioner
all
the
way,
this
tends
to
be
just
enough
tension
on
the
belt.
