Engine,
the
engine
bearings
should
be
replaced
at
the
same
time.
Every
Nissan
Engine
has
different
grades
for
the
bearings,
there
is
no
standard
bearing
grade.
Sold
as
a
half
bearing,
12
are
required
per
engine.
TO
DETERMINE
OEM
ROD
BEARING
GRADES
Check
each
rod
big-end
and
take
note
of
the
grade
letter
stamped
at
location
D.
Write
this
grade
letter
down
for
each
rod,
keeping
track
of
their
position
(cylinder
1,
2,
3,
etc). |

Check
the
crankshaft
counterweight
and
take
note
of
the
grade
letters
stamped
at
each
location
(E,
F,
G,
H,
I,
J).
Write
each
grade
letter
down
and
keep
track
of
their
position
(cylinder
1,
2,
3,
etc). |

Using
the
lookup
table
below,
compare
the
letter
stamped
on
the
rod
big-end
(from
Step
1)
to
the
letter
stamped
on
the
crank
(Step
2).
This
will
give
you
each
rod's
bearing
grade
(0,
1,
2,
3,
or
4).
Write
down
each
bearing
grade,
keeping
track
of
each
grade's
position
(cylinder
1,
2,
3,
etc). |
