Customer Questions

Question:

why its not combatable with 2+2 ? - Saleh

Answer:

Hi Saleh, they are, but the 2+2 was never sold as a TT in the United States, so it doesn't appear in most compatibility lists based on US models.

Question:

How much does this affect fuel economy? - Jason

Answer:

Hi Jason, other than the temptation to use a heavier foot, these ECU upgrades really do not affect fuel economy. They don't really adjust anything on the fuel map where you would normally be "cruising," and that's when the ECU is just going off of O2 sensor feedback anyway.

Question:

Does this tune work together with aftermarket parts such as downpipes and exhaust? - Zeke

Answer:

Yes, it is designed to support most common bolt-on mods

Description

JWT's engine control units (ECUs) are used worldwide in all forms of competition. Specializing in Nissan/Infinity ECUs, JWT programs have earned a reputation for meticulous and complete tuning. An ECU contains much more than just the parameters for a single maximum-horsepower point. Tuning only in this single dimension - without regard for other attributes like throttle response, thermal control, or torque - simply is not optimized tuning! Our winning experience in off-road, rally, and road racing is present in every fully optimized ECU we offer. JWT engine control units are sold on an exchange basis and can be upgraded using your stock unit or we can send a finished unit on an exchange basis(Core Charge).

JWT Core Charge($500): An Additional $500 Core Charge applies to all JWT ECUs, and is charged at initial purchase of ECU. Once the Customer receives the JWT ECU, they must then return the ECU to receive their core amount($500, $700 for 95-96 ECU). The additional core charge will not show up on the internet invoice.
