Hi Jaiden, it does not work with automatic transmissions.

Does it have the anti-lag option? - Georges

Answer:

It may be possible to tune it in with a custom map, but it does not have an antilag feature out of the box.

Hi I’d like to make a few questions. My ecu is going bad. My car won’t pass emotions because check engine light won’t go away. Two Mechanics told me, it’s the ecu the reason why my check engine light is on. Many other censors had been replaced since then and still on. My question is if I get the halteck plug and play platinum ecu, what do I need to do besides programming it with the software it comes with ? And how long till I have to tune it?. I currently have a tune on the oem ecu. - Hector Rojas

Answer:

With the Haltech it will require tuning immediately. Haltech provides base maps, but they're extremely barebones and not really enough to make the car driveable. At best, they're enough to get a car on a trailer. Also, it is not OBDII-compliant, so it will not pass emissions with this ECU in place of the stock ECU.

Tuning on this is a lot easier than uprev. It came with a base turbo map that i used to putt my car to the dyno. Also the customer support at Haltech and conceptz were great at helping me understand my fueling issue I had with my injectors. Make sure to email Haltech directly because the forums are hardly checked by them. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

Excellent product, forget uprev jus get this!!!

Taking control of all the essential engine management tasks such as fuel delivery, ignition timing, boost levels, camshaft positioning and correction maps, the Platinum 350Z ECU even interfaces with the factory Nissan CAN bus for on-board diagnostics and troubleshooting.

The Platinum Pro 350Z/G35 kit includes:
Platinum PRO Direct Plug-in ECU, Plug and pins for auxiliary I/O harness. Haltech CAN adaptor cable DTM-4 female receptacle/socket to 8 pin black Tyco 3"/75mm (used to adapt a Platinum series ECU to a DTM-4 Elite CAN system), USB programming cable.

Electronics carry at 25% restocking fee, and must go through testing before a credit is issued. Allow 1-2 weeks before refund is posted.
