Answer:

Hi Jakub, yes it will, turbos are the same for LHD and RHD. The only thing you'll need to keep in mind is that you have to change the oil lines for these, and the RHD factory oil feed line also houses the oil pressure sending unit on the LH side. You can just relocate it to the oil tree by extending the single wire for it.

What are these A/R .64 and A/R .86 ? And which one should I choose? - Omar

Hey Omar, .64 will give faster spool, .86 will have a higher power ceiling, so just depends on what your priority is

I was just curious as to What the difference is between this turbo kit and the jwt700bb kit? It looks to me like they are both based off the same disco potato turbo? - Mark

Answer:

Correct, both start out in life as an off-the-shelf GT2860R turbo. JWT modifies it to fit the 300ZX and calls it the Sport 700, and we do the same for this kit.

Description

This Turbo Kit uses a Garrett GT2860R Ball Bearing Disco Potato Turbo.

These turbos use a GT2860R Ball Bearing Disco Potato Turbo. This turbo kit is great for the Street and Drag. Reliable Spool up with a little extra kick to it. This kit is a direct bolt on, no modifications needed. 700 RWHP is possible w/ the correct tuned setup. A 5-bolt downpipe is required, as the OEM downpipes are only 4-bolt and will not fit.

Kit includes:

2x New Garrett Modified GT2860R (Disco Potato) Turbochargers
2x Braided SS Oil feed lines
1x Complete Gasket Kit
2x Modified L+R Return Tubes, adapters and Bolts
2x Outlet Pipes w/ New 5-Ply Silicone Hoses and T-bolt Clamps.
2x Garrett 14psi Wastegate Actuators

5-Bolt Downpipes are required.

Assembly:

Turner 'Assembly Required'. Turbos are machined, but you are responsible for putting all the parts on accordingly. This saves us time, and you money, so it's a win win situation.

Bolt-On Pre-Assembled w/ Actuators, and closed as close to mounting as possible. Depending on which Manifolds you are using, slight clocking might be necessary.

When compared to the traditional GT2860R, the billet compressor wheel design has a "root" that's 3.8mm smaller, allowing for blades with a larger surface area. The blades are almost 2mm longer at the inducer, and the compressor is 1.5mm taller than the GT2860R.

We also retained the GT-style 6x6 blade arrangement for more consistent boost production, and implemented the redesigned, more efficient blade shape and extended tips from the GTX series, to create our own "GTX" 2860R. The result is a turbo that moves more air than the GT2860R (capable of over 700 HP), without the lag experienced with larger turbos!
