Customer Questions

Question:

So I have a 1993 2+2 Manual swap. So issue 1 it's says 93 vert only..and then would I choose manual transmission because it's a manual swap or auto because it was auto from the factory? I'm assuming manual but just want to be sure. Still not even sure if I can have mine upgraded seeing it's a 93 2+2 and not a vert - Evan

Answer:

Hi Evan, this is because the 93 NA uses a 16 bit ECU which can't normally be upgraded. The convertible didn't get the 16 bit ECU until 94, so they're the only exception for 93s.

Question:

I have deleted the AIV’s, EGR, and carbon canister on the 90 NA 300zx. Would this Ecu chip remove those parameters from the ecu - Chad

Answer:

Hey Chad, yes it would, we disable the flags for those components.
