With the help of Brett Dempsey Engineering, we are now offering super heavy duty ARP2000 studs for the timing belt idler pulleys on the 300ZX! These are the strongest studs on the market, and are a practically fool-proof install, which significantly reduces the chances of failure. Other aftermarket solutions have an even lower tensile strength than OEM, and can be easily installed improperly, resulting in an even weaker product. Avoid hardware of questionable origins that's simply zinc plated for the illusion of quality. For vital engine components, we can't recommend anything more than ARP for the best protection.
