Hi Tyler, this is not CARB approved.
Hello, I was wondering if it comes with the caps to close the water necks ?
- Karl
Hi Karl, it does not include caps, but they're not needed. You can leave them open or just remove them with some pliers to make it look cleaner. They don't get used normally.
Can I install this kit with the Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer ?
- Mario
Yes, these don't conflict with plenum spacers.
I see will be no problem with the Injen CAI, but I don't understand about the water necks what happen with the factory ones, and what I do with the ones on the new throttle body, I see you cap it on your video ehere I find the caps
Thnaks
- Mario
Hi Mario, they don't need to be used at all. You can leave them open or even just remove them (they're pressed in).
I still have the stock intake tube will it still fit this throttle body or will I have to get a silicone elbow to fit the stock tube?
- Julio
HI Julio, it will still fit the stock tube, you just have to stretch it. Heat helps too!
Hi.. I have a Nissan skyline 350gt coupe 2004 model. It's not a infinity! Would this throttle body fit my car. Thanks!
- Robby
Hi Robby, yes it would fit fine, it's the same car, just RHD vs LHD.
Clearance issues with the czp 75mm throttle body and kinetix v+ plenum any solutions will be greatly appreciated.
- Jason Perez
Hi Jason, with the V+ plenum, you would need to either grind the heads of the two bolts that are interfering, or countersink and replace the bolt on the plenum side. That's our preferred method, it just takes more work of course.
would this still fit to my stock air intake on my 2003 g35 sedan
- markques
Hi Markques, it's a bit of a stretch on the stock intake because usually the factory hoses are brittle by now, but we do sell correctly sized couplers for the stock intake + this throttle body: https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-replacement-silicone-intake-z-tube-couplers-infiniti-g35-v35-czp-16576-g35kt_p_60231.php
Does the adapter function as a spacer or would it still be good to buy a throttle body spacer
- Jason
Hi Jason, this also acts as a spacer.
What is the slight modification required to install this throttle body on the Kinetix V+ plenum? Thanks!
- Bruce
Hi Bruce, with the V+ Plenum, there is one bolt on the perimeter of the plenum that interferes with one bolt head on the throttle body. The easiest solution would be to countersink the hole on the plenum and run a countersunk head bolt.
Hey, I was wondering if this would work with the Ingen CAI for the 04. It seems like the bolt down areas would change due to the spacers.
- Tylor
It still fits, there's enough margin of adjustment in the couplers. The trickiest part is you usually have to stretch the coupler pretty good to fit it over the throttle body.
Do I need to plug the water necks on the throttle body if Im installing on oem plenum?
- Alexandre
You can leave them open. And in fact, we recommend removing them (they're just pressed in) to make installation easier.
Can i run this throttle body kit on my g35 without a tune?
- Jorge
Plug and Play, no Tuning Required.
What would be the differences in power and torque Without a tune?
- Juan Sanchez
Depending on the dyno, most cars see around 15whp.
What is the difference between V1 and V2?
- Jeffery Donald
Hey Jeffery, V2 makes some minor improvements that make assembly easier. The O-rings are a tighter fit, and the machining tolerances are tighter, and the overall fit/finish is nicer.
"Will fit the V+ plenum with slight modification.........." What kind of modification?
- charles
Hi Charles, one of the bolt heads on the throttle body ends up directly above one of the bolts that holds the plenum down. You can either grind down the bolt head on the TB side, not run the bolt on the plenum (there are enough adjacent it's usually fine), or the best option is to countersink the bolt hole on the plenum and replace the bolt with a countersunk head bolt.
