This kit is designed for folks that have show/race/drift cars where quick removal of a bumper could be advantageous. We’ve produced our own Quick Release kit – comprised of 6061 billet-aluminum catches (beware the cheap Ebay kits that use substandard metals), A2 stainless hardware and our high-strength Colored silicone-rubber high-strength bands. Unlike other kits, we offer Dark Blue, Red, White and Black – whereas others just offer black. Additionally, the ZSPEC kit’s “backside” fastening hardware is stainless – many mainstream vendors (the ones that stamp their logos all over their products) use plated steel, that rust over time. ZSPEC designed this kit to outlast the others, while offering more customization options to make their use more “subtle”.
