Description
This
ZSPEC-produced
item
was
designed
from
the
OEM
single-din
unit
and
fitted
to
multiple
Double-DIN
style
radios
during
design
efforts.
Our
goal
was
to
improve
upon
the
poor-fitting
existing
units
on
the
market
and
provide
brackets
that
can
actually...well...be
used.
Unlike
the
other
unit
on
the
market
(that
is
a
copy
of
another
product
which
is
NLA...)
our
unit
was
created
from
scratch.
Fitment
of
the
bezel
is
focused
to
provide
a
clean
look
and
brackets
went
through
several
revisions
to
provide
the
widest-possible
radio-support.
Brackets
have
two
"most
common"
mounting
points
(fitting
most
Kenwood
and
Pioneer
units).
Additional
mounting
holes/points
are
included
should
other
mounting
points
need
to
be
used.

Note:
you
will
need
to
transfer
your
existing
single-din's
air-ducts,
mounting
clips
and
factory
clock
to
the
new
bezel.
Our
brackets
utilize
the
radio-mounting
hardware
and
OEM
fasteners.
If

comfortable
doing
installs/modifications
yourself,
please
consult
an
audio-installation
shop
to
get
assistance.

Fit perfectly! Very easy install.
I used this to install a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX. The fit and finish really are a "perfect fit." My wife said it looks like it came out of the factory like that. As the instructions warn, it can take some time to adjust the unit on the brackets to get the fit just right. It probably took me 90min or more of adjusting, mounting, checking and readjusting, but the final fit was well worth it.
This worked AMAZING! Very good quality materials used. I used the 'other' DD bezel kit for sale here since last year and that was a complete nightmare to get the fitment 'acceptable'. The worst experience. THIS kit was practically perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this if you're doing a DD conversion.
