Options
Description
The
factory
fuel
pressure
regulator
(FPR)
is
great
for
stock
to
mild
tuning,
but
is
not
capable
of
handling
significantly
increased
fuel
demands
for
high
horsepower
applications.
Additionally,
the
ability
to
adjust
the
fuel
pressure
allows
tuners
to
squeeze
just
a
little
more
fuel
flow
out
of
your
injectors,
potentially
increasing
power
potential.
The
Tomei
Fuel
Pressure
Regulator
comes
with
four
ports
total:
-
Top:
4.5mm
Vacuum
signal
-
Bottom:
1/8
NPT
Fuel
outlet
(to
fuel
tank)
-
Front:
1/8
NPT
Fuel
inlet
(from
fuel
rails)
-
Side:1/8
BSPT
fuel
pressure
sensor
port
(comes
with
plug
installed).
Two
types/sizes
are
available,
depending
on
your
application.
Type
S
is
recommended
as
a
factory
replacement
and
slightly
increased
fuel
demands.
Type
L
is
recommended
for
very
high
HP
applications
and
large
fuel
needs.

We recommend the large diaphragm version for high horsepower cars or those running ethanol which demand exceptionally high fuel volume.

Good product for quick and easy fuel pressure management. Installed on a Z32 following https://conceptzperformance.com/blog/defeating-the-stock-fuel-control-system/ setup. Only negative is that the pressure gauge can only be installed on the side of the regulator. This limits the installation options on the Z32 while still having good view of the gauge. Would recommend a regulator that takes a front mount gauge for Z32 platforms or purchasing a sensor.
