Organic
SS-O
|
NSK1000-SS-O:
Slightly
heavier
pedal
and
like-stock
clutch
engagement,
this
is
the
most
popular
clutch
for
the
non-turbo
for
those
who
want
something
that
can
handle
a
bit
more
abuse
than
stock
while
still
being
smooth
and
comfortable
for
a
daily
driver
(Stage
3
Daily,
530
lb-ft). |
Kevlar
SS-TZ
|
NSK1000-SS-TZ:
The
unique
TZ
Kevlar
Disc
offers
impressive
torque
capacity
while
still
offering
buttery
smooth
engagement
and
quiet
operation,
making
it
one
of
our
favorite
discs,
especially
for
high
horsepower
cars
that
are
still
driven
on
the
street
(Stage
3
Endurance,
575
lb-ft). |
Organic-Feramic
SS-OFE
|
NSK1000-SS-OFE:
The
Organic-Feramic
Disc
has
more
aggressive
engagement
than
the
O
or
TZ
discs,
but
will
hold
up
better
to
abuse,
so
it's
a
great
choice
for
a
car
regularly
driven
aggressively
(Stage
2
Endurance,
600
lb-ft). |
6-Puck
DXD
|
NSK1000-SS-DXD:
For
those
looking
to
drag
race
or
track
their
cars
full-time,
the
6-puck
DXD
clutch
is
going
to
be
the
most
durable
and
aggressive
choice.
The
DXD
disc
is
going
to
have
the
"grabbiest"
engagement,
and
holds
up
great
under
extreme
conditions
(Stage
3
Drag,
715
lb-ft). |
4-Puck
SS-X
|
NSK1000-SS-X:

extreme
and
aggressive

available
from
Southbend.
This
is

those
really
looking
to

Customer Questions
Question:
Hi will replacing the clutch on 2004 Nissan Z350 with a 2006 Nissan Z350 clutch make the pedal easyer to push? OR THE PEDAL IS TO HARD TO PUSH. HOW CAN I MAKE THE CLUTCH PEDAL ON A 2004 NISSAN Z350 EASY TO PUSH ON. THANK YOU?
- Alejandro
Answer:
Hey Alejandro, pretty much any aftermarket clutch will make the pedal heavier and this one is definitely no exception. The stock pedal assembly actually has an assist spring to make it easier to push, and it's a pretty light pedal out of the factory for this reason. I would check if your spring is still there. If it is, I would suspect your clutch has been replaced already.

Opted for the Silent Disc to be used with a JWT lightweight flywheel, and it made a world of difference, car idles without having the noisy chatter of a single mass lightweight flywheel, and to my surprise, the silent disc was stamped Exedy 1SD141U... HUGE difference for the better.
