This
clutch
is
recommended
for
single
mass
flywheel
(SMF)
when
original
design
is
DMF.
This
clutch
package
is
designed
for
high
HP
vehicles
desiring
a
start
performance
similar
to
O.E.
The
pressure
plate
is
Race
Engineered
(SS)
and
SFI
approved
with
significant
load
increase
over
stage
1,2
pressure
plates
(+600-800
lbs.).
Expect
a
pedal
effort
increase
of
20%-25%.
Discs
are
assembled
with
heat-treated
wear
resistant
hubs;
drive
plates
and
springs
for
high
load
transfer
and
dependable
operation.
The
sprung
centers
on
the
disc
in
conjunction
with
the
marcel
fin
between
the
linings
create
a
dual
dampening
effect
that
simulates
O.E.
start
performance.
A
Performance
Organic
friction
material
with
a
high
metal
content
increases
torque
and
RPM
capability
and
maintains
low
operating
temperatures
which
reduces
wear
and
glazing.
Recommended
usages
are
daily,
spirited
street
and
occasional
track.

The
stock
Nissan
pivot
ball
is
made
from
a
weak
Grade
5
steel
and
from
10+
years
of
use
have
a
tendency
to
break
when
an
upgraded
clutch
is
installed.
We
have
made
our
Pivot
ball
from
Chromoly
to
withstand
the
extra
force
of
an
upgraded
clutch.
This
is
a
must
have
part
for
anyone
upgrading
to
a
performance
clutch!!!
The
Stainless
Steel
Clutch
Line
is
a
must
have
upgrade
for
the
350Z/G35
with
an
upgraded
clutch.
This
will
eliminate
the
mushy
pedal
feel,

Z's
have
after
installing
high
clamping

What is the difference of the two endurance discs?

Answer:
Hey Simon, the TZ has a kevlar material. It's very soft and it's great for smooth, easy engagement. The OFE is organic on one side, and feramic on the other. It's still streetable, but has a lot more aggressive engagement.
Question:
What exactly is the silent disk? And does it reduce the clut lifespan?

Answer:
Hey Ben, it's basically a nylon damper that gets installed inside the hub of the clutch disc, and it helps reduce the "chatter" that's sometimes heard with a lightweight flywheel. It does not affect the lifespan of the clutch, though.

In this package, how much does the aluminum flywheel weight?
