If I use this, which I really want to, will I be able to use ethanol content gauge, or will I have to find a way to split the signal. - Laterrick

Answer:

Hi Laterrick, you would not be able to run this and a gauge at the same time. You woulud be better off using a gauge that also has an analog output (most do), and connecting that output signal directly to the ECU. This would essentially do the same job as this product would, anyway.

Description

Nistune now supports Flex Fuel on the Z32, giving you the ability to run E85 and other ethanol blends and have the ECU adjust timing, fuel, and cranking maps based on the ethanol content. Instead of purchasing an expensive external ethanol content analyzer, Nistune has also developed dedicated Flex Fuel Boards which are small enough to be installed directly into the ECU!

The Flex Board produces a 0-5V output based on the ethanol content read by your standard GM-style ethanol sensor. This is wired directly into the ECU, replacing the diagnostics screw potentiometer (you can still easily run diagnostics through Consult). Once enabled in Nistune, you can then tune your car to trim the AFRs, cranking maps, and timing (on a full 16x16 map) based on the percentage of ethanol content. No more having to pick the "closest match" manually by reading a gauge, and no more guessing and crossing your fingers that the fuel at the pump has the right amount of ethanol for your tune!

Each Nistune Flex Board includes a pigtail to be routed through the hole left by the diagnostics selector, and a full-length harness that can be run down to your ethanol sensor, so you can still easily unplug and remove the ECU from the car (without having any kind of harness hard-wired into other controllers or switches).

Please note: The GM-style ethanol content sensors have "tabs" on their connectors which will, at first, conflict with the harness included with this kit. These harnesses are used for cost-savings. Just trim down the tabs on your ethanol sensor, and the connector will fit fine and the sensor works great.
