This complete timing chain kit includes all genuine Nissan/Infiniti OEM components. The base kit includes the components necessary to replace the primary chain and its tensioner and guide, as well as the upper chains. The upper tensioners are often skipped as part of the primary service, as their replacement involves removing the valve covers, rear timing cover assembly, and upper oil pan assembly, which drastically increases the labor involved. However, we offer these as optional add-ons from the dropdowns above.

We do strongly recommend adding the water pump, and in fact many opt to perform the timing chain service specifically because of the water pump failing or leaking. Please see the "Often Purchased With" section further down on this page for other recommended related parts.
