Description
The
original
screw-style
clamps
the
Z32
shipped
with
are
notorious
for
causing
leaks.
Not
only
do
the
screw
heads
like
to
round
off
easily,
but
the
real
issue
is
during
colder
months
when
the
rubber
hose
shrinks
underneath
the
clamps.
Because
of
this,
the
clamp
exerts
lower
pressure
against
the
hose,
which
causes
leaks.
Before
switching
to
push-lock
fittings,
Nissan
switched
to
these
clamps
in
the
late
90s
for
their
other
turbo
cars.
This
part
number
is
actually
from
the
R34
GT-R,
and
we've
found
they
do
a
great
job
holding
up
to
demands
of
higher
fuel
pressure
even
in
modified
boosted
applications,
and
never
require
re-tightening
because
they
always
exert
a
constant
level
of
clamping
force
against
the
hose.
