Nissan
transitioned
from
a
standard
non-pressurized
overflow
reservoir
to
a
pressurized
version
in
May
of
2012,
which
is
in
the
middle
of
the
2012
Model
Year
(which
is
why
you
may
see
some
inconsistency
in
year
ranges
across
related
parts).
The
non-pressurized
version
puts
the
pressurized
"radiator
cap"
on
the
filler
neck,
and
uses
a
simple
plastic
cap
on
the
overflow
reservoir
tank.
The
pressurized
version
uses
a
"dummy"
radiator
cap
on
the
filler
neck,
and
a
pressurized
cap
on
the
overflow
reservoir
tank.
