The '96 coolant temp sensor is electrically the same as the 90-95, but features a revised, weather-tight electrical connector. Nissan transitioned other connectors to this style prior to 96, and while the 90-95 coolant temp sensors & connectors are extremely prone to corrosion, the coolant temp sensor didn't see this update until 96, leaving 90-95 cars to deal with the problematic early style connectors.

This kit allows you to easily retrofit the updated '96 sensor to your 90-95 300ZX. We offer both terminal kits, which allow for a clean, like-stock installation (as long as you can crimp the pins), or a splice-in pigtail connector. Polarity doesn't matter, just swap the connector and the sensor is plug-and-play.
