This
racing
radiator
cap
improves
cooling
performance
by
keeping
the
pressure
in
the
cooling
system
higher
and
making
it
harder
for
the
coolant
to
boil
or
evaporate
compared
to
the
standard
radiator
cap.
Compared
to
the
standard
cap
with
an
opening
pressure
of
0.09MPa
(0.9kg/cm2),
the
boiling
point
is
increased
by
approximately
6℃.
The
design
that
was
on
sale
in
the
1990s
has
been
reproduced
on
the
top
surface
of
the
current
racing
radiator
cap.
