If I bought a transmission cooler and then this radiator would it work for my automatic 350z since im replacing the transmission cooler.

Yes that's correct, the only difference between AT and MT radiators is the internal transmission cooler on AT versions. So if you add an external transmission cooler, you can run an MT radiator on an AT car.

I had a mad overheating problem with my '06 350z and had 2 different mechanics "fix" said problem. After hundreds of dollars and a still overheating car, I decided to buy this product and install it with a few friends over a weekend. Why didn't I do this first. It, along with the "Mishimoto Silicone Hose Kit Black 03-06 Nissan 350Z" and the "Mishimoto Racing Thermostat Nissan 350Z 03-06 Z33", I now have a car that only heats up to the lowest operating temperature point. Worth every cent.
Fits into my 2006 350z. A little bigger, so it takes some persuasion to install.
