Description
Billet
aluminum
half-moon
plugs
replace
the
stock
rubber
plugs
used
in
the
back
of
the
cylinder
heads
under
the
exhaust
valve
covers.
Aluminum
will
not
shrink
with
exposure
to
heat
and
oil,
and
eliminates
exhaust
valve
cover
oil
leaks
in
this
area.
Sold
as
a
Pair.
Please
note:
These
must
be
installed
at
the
same
time
as
the
valve
covers,
when
all
the
RTV
is
soft.
Attempting
to
install
the
valve
covers
later,
after
the
RTV
has
set
and
solidified,
is
likely
to
lead
to
leaks
or
damage
to
the
valve
covers.

Do you put these seals in dry or is bond (Gasket Maker) required?

Answer:
Hey there, you still use liquid gasket for these. We also recommend doing it as you're installing the valve cover gaskets. Letting it dry first will prevent it from seating down all the way when you install the valve covers.
