Description
These
Brackets
are
used
to
Mount
the
Rear
Akebono
Brake
Kit
that
is
available
on
the
370Z
/
G37
Sport
Models.
Please
note
that
you
will
need
to
machine
the
backs
of
the
calipers
to
clear
bolts
on
the
mounting
brackets.
On
our
complete
Akebono
BBK
kits,
we
have
a
machine
shop
do
this,
but
it
can
be
done
with
a
rotary
hand
tool
as
well.

the
attached

for
an
example.
4-lug
S13/S14
will
require
5-lug
conversion.
Requires
300ZX
Z32
e-brake
assemblies
to
make
the
e-brake
work.

Interesting upgrade, but the screws provided are far too short, the screws for the stirrups do not take up half the thread, I will have to buy the screws again, conclusion the price is a little excessive
I have installed these pieces on 2 of my S chassis (s13/s14) with a working parking brake using Q50 parking brake hardware. Had to re-drill the plate but it works well enough to park on a 30° incline. Stopping power is amazing. Yes the bolts could be a bit longer for the rear set, but over all this kit kicks soo much ass. Keep doing what your doing. Whoever is making these , keep it up. I just may Akebono the world
