Description

The GKTECH Billet Aluminum offset tension rod end inserts replace the inserts that go into the heim joint of your tension rod and give around 0.39'' more wheel clearance by moving the tension rod over. These are an easy DIY direct replacement that shouldn't take longer than 10-15 minutes to install.

- To suit heim joints that measure 0.74'' (19mm) internal diameter and that have a width of between 0.82'' - 0.90'' (21mm - 23mm) - Providing that your heim joint is the size listed above these will fit S13 Silvia, 240sx, S14, S15, R32, R33 and R34 Skylines - Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and anodized for longevity

FAQS

Will these fit with my tension rods?

We can only confirm that these fit our V1 and V2 tension rods. They do fit many other tension rods, however we can't test every tension rod that's ever been made. We can however tell you that if the heim joint on your tension rod has an internal diameter of 0.74'' (19mm) and is 0.82'' - 0.90'' (21mm - 23mm) in width then these will fit.

Do you make other sizes?

No, we don't. We only make the parts listed on our website and don't do any custom work.

What’s the advantage of these offset tension rod end inserts?

The inserts move the position of your tension rod over around 0.39'' (10mm) giving you more wheel clearance, as seen in the photo above this has moved the tension rod over enough that the wheel will now hit the swaybar before the tension rod.

Is there anything else that I need to install these inserts?

Nope, simply unscrew the bolt that holds the end of the tension rod in, slip out the old inserts and slip these ones in. Piece of cake!
