Fujitsubo was originally established in 1937 as a motorcycle manufacturer. Fujitsubo Motors produced the first Japanese made motorbike called the Eagle. In 1965, Fujitsubo started manufacturing automobile parts and now holds more than 12 patents. Fujitsubo continue to be leading edge in the exhaust components and is one of the most respected performance exhaust manufacturer in Japan. Fujitsubo exhaust systems are well-known for their exceptional quality and engineered to increase power while maintaining a deep quiet tone.

Fujitsubo product testing and development has been conducted in various forms of motorsports including WRC, Super Taikyu, D1GP, Gymkhana, Dirt Trial, and Formula 4 plus on Fujitsubo's on site 1/4 mile test strip. All of Fujitsubo's testing has enabled them to become ISO 9001 certified, JASMA certified, and a TUV license holder. It's not surprising to see a Fujitsubo exhaust system on many of Japan's top race cars in the JGTC (Japan Grand Touring Championship).

The Legalis R exhaust is Fujitsubo's most popular exhaust system. Designed for street use, it improves both low-end and mid-range power. All Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust systems are constructed of stainless steel and are available in two different tip styles. Round with slanted tip or oval, depending on the car application.

All Fujitsubo exhaust systems are bolt-on and come with all necessary bolts and hardware for easy installation.
