replica
of
a
$2000
exhaust
system.
We've
found
that
the
manufacturer
sometimes
doesn't
do
the
best
job
packing
them,
so
minor
scuffs
and
dings
are
considered
normal,
and
the
fitment
isn't
going
to
be
as
good
as
higher-end
exhaust
systems,
so
a
lot
of
times
these
systems
will
take
more
work
to
install
and
make
fit
acceptably.
This
exhaust
is
a
great
option
if
you're
looking
for
a
cheap
replacement
for
a
tired,
aging
stock
system,
but
if
you're
looking
for
better
fitment
and
quality,
we
would
recommend
looking
into
one
of
the
more
well-known
brands,
like
Invidia,
Motordyne,
or
the
original,
genuine
HKS
Exhaust
system.

Been having this on my z for 3 years with no issues fitment isnt great needed some elbow grease to make it fit right but sounds great looks great too especially if you throw some test pipes on. Flex pipes on mine still look new. I guess the old ones were made better than the new ones? Either way as cheap as it is you cant go wrong
classic case of you get what you pay for.
pros: sounds surprisingly good, no rasp, good low end tone.
cons: fitment is less than desirable and requires some adjustment to fit it properly. flex pipes destroyed in about a year. the braided stainless came undone on a non lowered G (no bottoming our or scraping). will you save a buck? definitely. will you have to have repairs or buy a new exhaust soon after? definitely.
This kit when paired with test pipes (i'm running ISR res) Make your Z or G sound like something out of your wet dreams. This kit by itself gives the vq a deep-almost groan with just enough extra flow to give you some gentle pops on decel. You will want to pick up some extra bolts because they don't send you enough unless you drive a Z and don't need the extensions, fitment isn't perfect and the exhaust will melt if you have any sort of overrun.
