Question:
Will this place the cooling fans closer to the engine or will that distance stay the same? I measured 1/2” from center of radiator top mounting post to the face of the fan assy mounting bolt hole on the OEM radiator.

Hey Paul, it does move the fans slightly closer to the engine.

this is a great radiator for the 350z and one i would recommend. For mine the hardest part was installing it to fit just right. i had to drill out slightly bigger holes in the condenser for the radiator pins to go threw and i had to cut off the aluminum brackets at the bottom of the radiator that are supposed to line up with groves in the condenser. maybe my condenser is after market? other than a little diy it fits perfectly on the rubber mounts on top and bottom.
