Customer Questions

Question:

Hi - Which banjo bolt do you recommend using with the banjo fitting? I'm currently doing an NA-TT swap and do not have any oil fittings. Thanks - Matt - Matt

Answer:

Hey Matt, you would want to use 16432-40P00 with that one!

Question:

Hi. I have this set mocked up on my motor, and I'm wondering how the 90 fitting threaded to the block maintains leak seal, since there is no surface for a crush washer. Is this expected to be an issue at all? Just thought I'd ask, thanks. - Keanu

Answer:

Hey Keanu, that fitting (and the corresponding hole in the block) is tapered pipe thread. It will get tighter as you screw it in, so you stop when it's nice and snug, not when it's flush (if you try to go that far, something will break). It's a good idea to use a little bit of liquid thread sealant, too.
