Description
It
is
important
to
have
the
crank
bearing
cap
secured
with
tight
tolerances
at
high
RPM
and
load.
Original
main
bolts
have
concentrated
stress
at
only
1/3
of
its
length
making
that
section
very
weak.
Any
more
torque
will
most
likely
break
the
bolt.
These
reinforced
main
studs
allow
the
stress
to
be
dispersed
evenly
along
the
threading
and
secure
the
bearings.
