Question:
I picked up my 91 2+2 n/a from my uncle at 98,xxx ml and the shifter plastic bushings were so worn that the shifter knob felt like it was in neutral in every gear. replaced it with brass bushings and a performance short throw shifter around 105,xxx ml. currently at 111,xxx ml and 4 gear grinds like dog in heat. If im doing any tranny work just wanna make sure this is going to do the trick plus some?

This kit does include the 4th gear synchro which is a common problem so it likely would fix the issue. We also recommend running RedLine MT-90 fluid as incorrectly fluids can cause synchro issues on these cars, too.
