Fantastically well engineered part that definitely shortens the throw and height of the shift lever. It is probably better engineered and produced than the OEM part it replaces (unlike a lot of other shift kits). Yes, it really is that good. However, you will probably destroy the OEM shift knob to get it off so plan on a replacement. I would highly recommend a weighted shift knob for much smoother shifts. Those two parts together are how the car should have come from the factory.

I'm not sure why the shifting is harsh even though I used all the grease as instructed, location of gears is akaward compared to OEM, I used it for 2 weeks and never got comfortable with it and I switched back to OEM shifter, very disappointed with the product

Wow easy install on my 2006 g35 nice shorter shifts! Doesn't shake as much as it used to with the stock shifter! Great price well worth it!

The shifter feels really nice as you are going through the gears. It will make the shifts a little stiffer and notchier. One thing to note was that 5th and 6th gear were awkward to shift into at first. After doing some city driving and going through all the gears. 5th and 6th gears were way easier and smooth to shift into. I guess it needed to break in a bit. For mine there is no rattle in low or higher RPMs either. it does vibrate a bit on neutral but its solid when i put it in gear.
