This kit replaces the stock Sumitomo-made calipers with brand new Stoptech ST43 4-Piston Calipers. Despite their compact size, these calipers are proportioned specifically for the 300ZX by Stoptech and provide improved pedal response and braking performance.

This kit is unique in that it works with stock 30mm rotors, and will fit under stock 16" 300ZX wheels (5mm spacer required). If your rotors are in good shape it's not necessary to change them, but we have added options to purchase new rotors along with this kit above, and we strongly recommend it if your rotors are worn or warped.

Please note the 1990 Non-Turbo shipped with 26mm rotors. For this application, you MUST replace the rotors with 30mm rotors. For the 91+ Non-Turbo, and all Twin Turbo models, replacing the rotors is optional as those shipped with 30mm rotors from the factory.

With any brake upgrade, we strongly recommend checking/replacing other suspension components which are known to cause shaking, sloppy handling, and poor braking performance. For example: tension rods, tie rod ends, steering rack bushings, shocks, etc.
