The
large
capacity
core
will
greatly
improve
cooling
performance.
Even
though
the
core
has
larger
capacity,
weight
of
the
intercooler
unit
is
lighter
than
stock.
Performance
level
is
much
higher
than
other
manufactures'
products,
which
are
just
larger
than
stock
intercooler.
Thus,
this
will
improve
horsepower
gained.
Material
AVS
Performance
Intercooler
features
cast
aluminum
end
tanks
for
added
durability
with
extremely
smooth
features
and
geometry.
Designed
by
the
engineering
team
using
Solidworks
3D
CAD
software,
these
A356
T6
aluminum
end
tanks
have
improved
flow
over
sheet
metal
end
tanks
and
include
integrated
OEM
location
mounting
points
for
ease
of
installation.
Cooling
Performance
To
improve
cooling
performance,
larger
core
is
required.
After
performance
tests,
if
the
core
size
is
just
slightly
larger,
there
is
not
so
much
performance
improvement.
To
achieve
great
performance
enhancement,
the
large
size
(Size:
380x260x85)
&
thin
core
was
created
by
AVS
Performance.
Lightweight
Intercooler
unit
is
lighter
than
stock.
It
reduces
weight
of
overhang.

Pressure
loss
To
prevent
pressure
loss
due
to
the
thin
core,
the
new
inner
fin
design
will
minimize
pressure
loss.
