What is the difference between the formed merge collector with spike and the parallel merge collector? Also which is better for power?

Hey Zayn, the formed merge collector is basically a pre-made collector that's welded in, and then the spike in the center is added to help the three channels merge smoothly. It's a simple design, but not ideal for performance. With the parallel merge collector, the runners are hand cut and welded to form a gradual, smooth merger into one. It's better for performance, but takes more work, hence the higher price.
