Description

The PPE Downpipes were a collaborative effort between PPE and Concept Z Performance. These replace the lower catalytic converters, mounted right before the "cat-back" exhaust. By replacing the catalytic converters with free-flowing pipes, you remove a huge restriction from the exhaust system. This results in faster boost response and greater overall power.

To ensure perfect fitment, we went as far as purchasing a brand new set of genuine OEM catalytic converters from Infiniti to base fitment on, and then tested these on our own shop Q60 Red Sport for fitment and performance. Dyno testing was performed on our Red Sport on our own Mustang Dyno.

While we highly recommend dyno tuning any VR30-equipped car once performing intake and/or exhaust mods, an otherwise untouched car gave us an increase of 8hp and 28 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. With a tune, the car gained 22hp and 73 ft-lbs of torque!. Gains in power and torque are seen across the entire RPM range, which a large increase in torque output at the low-to-mid range RPMs, resulting in a substantial increase in torque output where you feel it the most!

Please Note: Includes new stainless steel hardware. Gaskets can be re-used if they're still in good shape, otherwise new Infiniti OEM gaskets are available as optional add-ons above.
