Description:

All of the Labree components fit exactly according to factory specifications. You can replace any part with Labree and expect a perfect fit, which is not always the case with other brands. All of Labree's flanges are 3/8" cold rolled steel, machined flat, requiring no gaskets and only a thin film of RTV silicone as opposed to other brands which are only 1/4". Our flanges are welded to tubing on the inside and not the outside and are left with no lip on the inside, which makes connecting hardware fit better. All Labree tubing is 14 gauge, to reduce resonance on the inside of the car; the others use thinner 18 gauge. 14 gauge aluminized tubing will last as long as 18 gauge stainless steel, guaranteed.

Labree can provide over 200 styles of mufflers, and they make 7 styles of H and X pipes. Labree Motorsports has 40 years of experience, and offers a Lifetime Warranty on all mufflers and tubing. Labree does not sacrifice quality for a few dollars and cents.

Options
Piping: 2.25" is the recommended size for non-turbo cars, and 2.5" is recommended for most TT cars. Running a size larger than recommended can result in an increase in power, but decreased torque. For those running stock, Sport 500, or Z1 525 Turbos, 2.5" is perfect. If you're running Sport 530 or larger turbos, 3" piping is generally the way to go.

Material: Stainless steel will produce a slightly deeper exhaust note, and hold up longer against corrosion. For those in a dry climate or just looking to save some money, aluminized is still an option.

Mid-Pipe: X-Pipes will produce slightly more power, but be a bit louder. H-Pipes will produce slightly less power, but run quieter. The performance difference is nearly negligible, the sound difference is more noticeable.

Resonator: For non-turbo applications, or those looking to reduce noise, optional resonators can be added to the mid pipe.

Polish: All mufflers are polished by default. If you would also like the piping polished, this can be done as an option.
