Customer Questions

Question:

So I was going to upgrade my clutch, should I also upgrade my csc and my master? - Marcos A

Answer:

Hey Marcos, we pretty much recommend replacing the slave every time you pull the transmission, and you generally want to replace the master whenever the slave is replaced. Upgraded versions are generally just going to be more reliable than the stock and standard replacements.

Question:

Hello, which clutch disk would you recommend for someone with a stock VQ35HR that will see the occasional track day? Would the stage 2 be fine, or should I go with the stage 3 for the added safety window? Thanks - Nate

Answer:

Hey Nate, the Stage 3 will handle hard launches a lot better, but it's also going to be less enjoyable to drive on the street. If you're not launching the car from a dig, or it's more important to maintain streetability, we'd lean towards the Stage 2.

Question:

What are the torque specs for the clutch and flywheel? - Alex

Answer:

Hi Alex, for the pressure plate, you tighten in two steps (11 ft-lbs, then 29 ft-lbs). The flywheel-to-crank goes to 65 ft-lbs.

Rated 4.8/5 based on 3 customer reviews

Purchased for a 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe w/51k miles. Extra chatter from the flywheel in neutral and low RPMs but is expected with reduction in weight. Clutch is back to normal factory feel after 2 weeks of driving. Car is definitely more responsive. Highly recommend.

Just got it installed and my 370Z NISMO feels great clutch pedal feels weird though

Purchased the stage 2 kit along with the JWT concentric slave cylinder for my fully built ‘08 supercharged coupe pushing 11psi. Perfect combination! The pedal feel is slightly heavier then stock but not noticeable to an untrained foot. I actually prefer the feel it over factory. There is some chatter at idle in neutral but it’s not the loudest by far compared to some other brands. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for spirited daily driving!
