Question:

I wish to purchase your Xeron Headlights for my Z32 fairlady 1995 2+2 TT. Is their anything else l need to purchase or are these headlights just plug and play Keith Graham - Keith

Answer:

Hey Keith, we offer plug-and-play adapter harnesses for 90-96 US 300ZXs, but they won't work directly with European or Japanese models. Most other regions use H3 connectors, so I would still recommend purchasing the adapter harnesses, and cutting/splicing the correct headlight connectors for your vehicle. We recommend this route because the adapter harnesses still greatly simplify the wiring on these headlights.

Question:

Hello , i am interested in this Upgrade , i have an European 95 300zx. So i imagine i don't need the option "Conversion Harness for US car" ? . Is it really plug and play ? My last question is about the beam. The Japonese Headlight are designed for use in countries with Left Hand trafic , do yours Headlights have a pattern correction for Left-Hand to Right-Hand beam ? Regards. Franck - Franck

Answer:

Hi Franck, it would not be plug and play for European models, they use a different connector from Japan or US. It would likely be easiest to still get the conversion harnesses and then just swap the plugs, since the wiring on European cars is more similar to US cars than the 99 JDM wiring. For the beam, they have an internal diffuser to accommodate RHD. Some people have opened up the headlights and reversed these for LHD countries, but we've found it really isn't necessary.

Question:

Are the headlights equip with the capacitor to convert a non LED/Xenon system to accommodate so the light indicator won't illuminate for bulb out warning or is that contained in the prewired accessory? Z32 1991 TT - Joel Anderson

Answer:

Hi Joel, there's no capacitor necessary, the Z32 doesn't throw a light indicator even with off-the-shelf HID kits, and definitely not with the genuine JDM kits.

Question:

Will these work in a 1990 RHD 300zx? Since they are not pre-wired is the headlight bulb the same as the 90 or did they switch headlight connectors in Japan for the 99 year. - John

Answer:

Hey John, they did a totally different connector style for the 99s. It has a single 3-pin connector towards the front of the headlight (run under where it meets with the bumper cover), whereas on the earlier cars, regardless of region, they had connectors plugging straight into the bulb. I would say the easiest bet would be to grab the pre-wired version, and then just change the connectors for whatever your car uses (it differed by region but I believe most are H3).
