Powder
Coating
Process
-
All
parts
are
pre-rinsed
with
a
pressurized
acetone,
methanol,
tetrachloroethylene
blend
-
After
your
parts
have
dried
they
are
media
blasted
with
no
more
than
90
psi
with
100
grit
aluminum
oxide
-
Parts
are
then
masked
(if
needed)
and
coated
with
an
electrostatic
charge
and
cured
in
an
oven
at
400°.
This
is
not
safe
for
plastic
or
rubber.
Any
part
that
has
plastic
or
rubber
needs
to
be
removed
prior
to
drop-off.
We
are
not
responsible
for
parts/pieces
that
have
been
damaged
due
to
the
heat
or
having
to
remove
those
parts.
-
PLEASE
make
sure
you
are
happy
with
the
current
condition
of
your
metal.
Powder
coat
is
thin
and
will
show
any
imperfections
in
the
surface
or
welds.
We
CAN
NOT
"lay
it
on
thicker"
to
hide
any
of
these
imperfections.
We
do
not
pre-heat
or
sand
blast
any
current
finish
off
prior
to
coating.
If
parts
are
painted
or
powder
coated
on
receipt
an
additional
charge
for
chemical
stripping
will
be
added.
Chemical
stripping
is
done
through
a
third
party
and
is
market
priced.
For
the
least
expensive
rate
and
fastest
turn
around
it
is
best
for
us
to
receive
clean,
raw
metal.
