the
newest

350Z

G35
Transmission
for
the
VQ35DE.
As
we
all
know,
the
earlier
version
of
the
350Z
transmissions
have
soft
synchro
rings,
and
cause
grinding
in
gears.
These
transmission
are
brand
new,
not
rebuilt,
and
are
complete
genuine
transmissions
directly
from
Nissan.
They
are
a
direct
bolt
on
for
any
350Z
or
G35
with
the
VQ35DE,
no
additional
modifications
required.

This
is
a
brand
new
complete
genuine
Nissan
OEM
transmission.
It
is
not
rebuilt
or
remanufactured.

Nissan
offers
very
limited
warranty
coverage
on
transmissions.
Should
you
have
an
issue,
you
will
need
to
take
the
transmission
to
your
local
dealer
to
have
them
"condemn"
the
transmission.
The
warranty
does
not
cover
any
labor,
shipping,
diagnostics
or
inspection
fee,
and
completion
of
the
warranty
is
entirely
up
to
the
dealerships
discretion.
That
said,
because
these
are
brand
new
transmissions,
it
is
extremely
rare
for
them
to
have
any
issues
whatsoever.

Nissan
ships
their
transmissions
pre-filled
with
fluid
to
prevent
the
internals
from
corroding
during
storage
and
shipping.
This
fluid
is
not
meant
to
be
driven
on,
and
you
must
change
the
fluid
before
driving
the
vehicle.
You
must
run
GL-4
Type
fluid,
like
Red
Line
or
Nissan
MT
Fluid.

insure
all
of
our
packages
for
shipping.
While
we
take
additional
steps
to
prevent
any
mishaps
during
shipping,
please
contact
us
immediately
should
your
package
arrive
damaged.
Please
note
that
it
is
possible
for
the
pre-filled
fluid
to
leak
out
during
transit
if
any
of
the
plugs/caps
are
jostled
loose.
Because
the
fluid
has
to
be
changed
anyway,
we
are
not
able
to
replace
transmissions
that
simply
leaked
their
fluid
during
transit.

repacked
to
make
sure

safely
and
complete,
and
our
shipments
are
insured
just
in

Is it safe to assume G37/370Z all have the CD009?

Answer:
Hey Jason, the CD009 shipped on the 05-06 350Z, 05-06 G35 Sedan, and 05-07 G35 Coupe. Anything HR/VHR (twin throttle body) has a different transmission that's not a CD009 and, while the internals are similar, the HR/VHR trans switches to an internal concentric slave cylinder and changes the bolt pattern at the bellhousing.

Well it seems CZP has a character limit on my review so I'll be quick..I think I'm the first in the country to have this transmission since I can find ZERO detailed info on it as of 05/17. Anyways I had the cd00a replace my crappy OEM 04 model due to some repairs i won't get into. So far it feels buttery smooth like a $2k tranny should right off the shelf. Got zero grinds (3-400mi)so far we'll see how it feels a year from now once I hit the 50k mark.4.5/5. Nothing man made last forever s.f.s.g!
Just got it in the car and it fits as it should, true bolt in replacement. I would go for the new mount since you are right there. The car shifts as you would expect from a new unit, tight in and out of every gear. Great value compared to parts and labor to fix one with flaws. Still running break-in oil, so nothing too hard yet.
This is hands down the best route for swapping out the old transmission. Just swapped mine out and it runs like a new one should, and makes driving a lot better. Don’t buy anything used just go all out and get this because you get your money’s worth!
